Meet Acara...
Hi, I'm Acara! I am a fun-loving, outgoing entrepreneur who loves animals, nutrition, sports, and the great outdoors. I grew up around animals my entire life and it has provided me with the years of experience of caring for animals, training, and getting to understand their unique ways. All while developing my love and passion for the all mighty dog. I currently reside in south east Calgary and enjoy raising my own Mexican rescue pup, and of course caring for the dogs currently registered with See Spot Run. Expanding my company and furthering my knowledge in the "dog world" keeps me on my toes, and allows me to better my services to the K9 species, and their faithful owners. I treat each and every dog with the respect and love as if it were my own for the simple reason that I vow to be the best Dogwalker Calgary has to offer!
Meet Luie...
RIP Sweet BOY!!! Forever loved and always missed...This is Luie, he was my dog and my business partner! He had quite the unique story....Luie came to us from Cabo San Lucas a little over 16 years ago. He was rescued by Pawsitive Match, fostered by Dogsville, and finally adopted by ME. When I first met Luigi, (I shortened his name) he was a very quiet, skinny, and feisty little terrier x, with a bit of an aggressive edge. Besides him being under weight, and his desperate need for love, he seemed to be quite healthy. Weeks went by and Luie started to get very sick, so sick that one afternoon while I was working at Dogsville Luie went into shock. After rushing him to the vet, the veterinarian gave us the ultimatum of euthanasia, or a long shot of a blood transfusion. Luie had two blood parasites which he contracted while living on the streets of Mexico which where destroying his red blood cells to the point of extinction. We opted for the blood transfusion, which the receptionist of the clinic had to quickly run home to get her dog for the fresh blood Luie needed to survive. It was a success! The blood matched and Luie pulled through. After hours of training and rehabilitation Luie became the most amazing dog and I love him dearly. He was by far the life of the party of See Spot Run, he would play with anyone of any size of any breed. He never miss a walk and he was always to be sure to show the new dog a good time on his/her first day with the pack! Thanks for the memories Luie, you were the best! XOXO
